  • It does not perform or verify dose calculations, and no figure it produces should be relied on for anything clinical.

  • It will not tell you guidance has changed. Currency is entirely yours, and the questions inherit whatever your document states.

Pharmacy student questions

Can it check interactions or doses for me?

No, and it must not be used that way. There is no drug database, no formulary, and no interaction checker behind it, so it has no independent knowledge of any medicine. Everything in a question comes from the document you uploaded, which means it can ask you why an enzyme inducer reduces the effect of another drug if your handout explains that, and it cannot tell you whether two specific medicines interact. Nor will it calculate or verify a dose. For anything that could reach a patient, the formulary, the interaction checker your practice uses, and a pharmacist remain the answer, and that is true no matter how confident any AI tool sounds. What this is for is learning the mechanisms well enough that you know when to go and look something up.

How does it handle drug names and classes?

It handles them as they appear in your material, which usually means embedded in a mechanism rather than listed. A therapeutics handout tends to explain what a class does, why it is chosen for a given indication, and what its characteristic adverse effects are, so those are the propositions available to build questions from. The result is questions like why a particular class is avoided in a particular patient group, rather than questions asking you to recite the members of the class. That is the more useful shape, since the reason is what transfers to an unfamiliar drug in the same class and a memorised list does not. If you want the naked list drilled, pasting the list in will produce exactly that, because it works only with what your document contains.

What should a pharmacy student upload?

Pharmacology and therapeutics handouts are the highest-yield material on the course for this, because they are dense, entirely text-based, and written almost entirely in the propositions that make good questions. Formulary extracts and monographs also read well as PDFs. Placement and dispensary notes you typed yourself are worth pasting straight in, since they record the reasoning behind real decisions and exist nowhere else. What works poorly is anything image-heavy, such as a structure diagram or a photographed label, since neither carries readable text. It is also worth uploading a section at a time rather than a whole module pack, because one set of questions spread across two hundred pages samples too thinly to be a useful test of any of it. A single week of teaching is usually the right unit.
